There was a bit of a push on to turn this building site into a party venue, to have 50 guests for a sit down lunch on the 12th September this year. We had an awning made (Nige made the wooden supports of course), and we exposed the stone which was hidden under grass and sand. Matt removed huge amounts of building rubble from the lower terrace (and dumped it in the lower paddock!) and Josep (our Catalan builder) filled the gap in the wall which was above a terrifying drop to the lower terrace.
