Our sheep farming neighbours have given us a border collie male puppy, who we have named Tai (after this place!). Our hope is that he will learn to protect the chickens and herd the sheep because neither of us fancy chasing sheep up & down the mountains (I did that with the slightly wild donkeys with Simi bouncing about on my back; not fun!).
Of course, before he got here, he was purely an outside dog, NOT a pet. Hmmmm! Olea keeps trying to sneak him into her bed!
He's quite popular with us all; lets hope he's a great farm dog too!
